Questions, answered

Yes. Bear Buddy is made from 100% food-grade, BPA-free silicone and is tested to recognised international toy safety standards, including ISO 22196:2011, EN71 and AS/NZS ASTM. It contains no small, detachable parts, and Biomaster® antimicrobial protection is built permanently into the silicone itself. It cannot wash off or wear away.

Bear Buddy is recommended for babies aged 3 months and above. As with any teether, always check the product for signs of wear before each use.

Yes, always. As with any teether or toy, Bear Buddy should only ever be used with a parent or caregiver nearby.

Biomaster® is an antimicrobial technology built into the silicone during manufacturing, rather than applied as a coating. It's designed to reduce the growth of bacteria on the surface of Bear Buddy by up to 99.9%, for the lifetime of the product.

Yes, Bear Buddy can be safely chilled in the fridge to give extra soothing relief for sore gums. We don't recommend the freezer, as extreme cold can make silicone too hard against delicate gums.

Wipe Bear Buddy clean or wash it with warm water. Let it air dry fully before giving it back to your baby.

We recommend inspecting Bear Buddy regularly, especially once your baby starts teething in earnest. If you notice any tears, nicks or changes to the silicone, it's time to replace it.
